Description

This black, cylinder-shaped speaker is made for listening without being tied to a desk. Pair it over Bluetooth and carry it from room to room, to a small gathering, or out to a patio, with the built-in rechargeable battery doing the work instead of a mains lead. The listed range is 10 m and the approximate autonomy is 4 hours, so it is best suited to shorter sessions and nearby playback rather than all-day use far from a charger.

It is a handy second speaker for a bedroom, kitchen, dorm room, or home office: background music while you cook, a podcast while you work, or a film soundtrack on a laptop without earphones. The included remote control and on-speaker buttons make it easy to pause or change tracks without reaching for the source device every time, and the hands-free feature means you can take a call through the speaker when your phone is connected.

You are not limited to Bluetooth alone. Use the 3.5 mm aux input for a device that does not pair well, connect through USB or RCA where that suits your setup, or play MP3 files from a compatible Micro SD card for music without a phone at all. The hook also gives you a simple way to hang it up and keep it off a crowded surface.

For everyday care, keep the USB charger that the listing notes for charging, recharge before a longer outing, and remember that IPX4 is a splash-resistance rating, not a promise that it can be submerged. Wipe it dry if it gets splashed, and do not rely on it in heavy rain or near a pool. If sound drops out, first check that you are still within range and that the battery is not running low.
